San Pedro Streetscape Project Update

October 18, 2011 by fairheights

The San Pedro Streetscape visioning process concluded on July 27, 2011. The focus of this process was to envision changes to San Pedro Dr. from Constitution to Lomas in order to improve its appearance and accessibility for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists. Below is a list of the posters providing the results of this process:

1) Existing Conditions
2) Four Alternatives Examined
3) Recommended Alternative-Aerial Plan
4) Recommended Alternative-Street Sections
5) Recommended Alternative-Constitution Intersection, Business Impacts and Bike Lane

In October 2011, the Fair Heights Neighborhood Association Board of Directors decided to support the recommended alternative made by the UNM Community and Regional Planning Students. In addition to learning more about the potential impacts of these concepts, FHNA will continue to work to gain support for improvements to the street.
